The Web is the Operating System
The world is changing rapidly, and the days when which operating system one uses actually mattered will soon be a memory. The internet (or whatever may replace it) will be be the method we use for communication and collaboration, as we do now; but it will also become the medium we use to create offline content -- documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and the like.
